MODX CMS is used worldwide. English, German, Dutch,.. are most used content languages but Chinese is also demanded and thus some of the reused libraries for English or German may not work. One of them is tableExport.js

tableExport.js is using $.base64.encode(var) but $.base64.encode is not really user friendly with Double-byte chars (it simply throws Error: uncaught exception: INVALID_CHARACTER_ERR: DOM Exception 5). But without using this encode function website's front-end may get MalformedURLException. We use different types of encode local languages and disable tableExport.js for  var base64data = "base64," + $.base64.encode(excelFile);
